Das Digital Negative (DNG, engl. für Digitales Negativ) ist ein von Adobe im September 2004 vorgestelltes Rohdatenformat, das den proprietären Wildwuchs an inkompatiblen Formaten beseitigen soll.

Adobe legte die Spezifikation des Formats offen und stellt einige weiterführende Informationen zum Datenformat zur Verfügung. Selbstredend unterstützt auch das hauseigene Bildbearbeitungsprogramm Adobe Photoshop, zumindest ab der CS-Version, das hauseigene DNG-Format.

Das Photoshop Camera Raw Plug-in für Adobe Photoshop kann ab Version 2.3 RAW-Dateien folgender Kameramodelle öffnen (Stand: August 2005):
